The Salamander and the Raven

The salamander is a mythical creature who is capable of emerging unscathed from the flames, symbolising trial by fire and rebirth. The Raven is a shape-shifter who is capable of moving between the dark and the light. These two archetypes have have gained increased relevance now in the current meltdown triggered by the coronavirus pandemic, in which positivity, kindness, and pragmatic good sense are so vitally needed. Any opinions expressed are entirely my own.
